$this->model->name gives throws a “Trying to get property of non-object”-warning

If I assign an array to the partial containing Zend_Paginator object your solution will not work…

@Jurian: The array notation is mentioned in the manual for assigning regular data to partials. Just not for assigning objects that you want to use as an object. I agree with you that it should be in there. I also think the method setObjectKey could be deprecated and I am thinking of submitting a bug report on this.

I’m using the array notation for a long time and am stunned this isn’t mentioned in the manual.

Setting the view parameters inside the controller with things like:
$this->view->form = new Zend_Form;
$this->view->text = $myText;
It’s in the partials the same as passing it with an array with key/value pairs (so ‘form’=>new Zend_Form, ‘text’ => $myText).

Small things apparently seems to be difficult to find out
